  Food is ok. Has deteriorated a bit. Service is bad. Would not allow to choose your table even when they are running empty. Not even for a table of similar size. Staff and owner does not like questions. Insulted us for asking why would they not carry the traditional after dinner snack at the cashier counter. I think it's called "sonph"!! Food is still good not great. Little expensive for what they offer.

  We enjoy buffet style catering. That gives us an option to try a little of different preparations before finding something that we really enjoy. Bombay garden has a good spread catering to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. They have one of the best dessert spreads among the various Indian restaurants we have been to in the Bay area. We always end up feeling too full to do full justice to the tasty dessert!
  
  Being located on Lawrence and El Camino, very easily accessible and the place has ample parking space.

  I have been going to Bombay Garden for over 20 years, but it is NOT the same Bombay Garden that used to be. They have put up an idiot on the front desk named Simon and he does not care for food or customer service. They have tried to cut corners both in terms of food and service.
  
  I went there about a week ago with a family member for lunch. The quality of food has gone down significantly. The front desk manager was rude and unprofessional. They do not even provide fresh bread anymore on the table!! There is NO service at all.
  
  BAD FOOD BAD SERVICE
  
  Do NOT go to Bombay Garden in Santa Clara.
